Accordingly, 12 member schools of Hanoi National University will use the following admission methods: direct admission and priority admission; admission based on high school graduation exam results; results of Hanoi National University's capacity assessment exam (HSA).
In addition, training units can use the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test for admission; SAT, A-Level, ACT certificates, meeting the prescribed entrance threshold.
Schools with specific training majors may have their own admission methods such as aptitude test/interview combined with high school academic results/high school graduation exam results/competency assessment test results/international certificates/foreign language certificates.
Hanoi National University notes that schools that use other admission methods need to develop specific plans and report to the director of Hanoi National University before April 30.
Regarding the entrance threshold, for the admission method that does not use the high school graduation exam results, candidates who meet the entrance threshold for teacher training and health training with a practice license must have good academic results for the entire 12th grade year (excellent academic performance or higher) or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher.
For nursing, medical laboratory technology, and medical imaging technology, only good 12th grade academic results are required, or high school graduation scores of 6.5 or higher.
This year, schools under Hanoi National University converted the minimum IELTS certificate of 5.5 to 8.5 points/10-point scale. The converted scores are as follows:
