According to the Department of Industry and Trade, after implementing the review and awarding of the title of handicraft artisan of Hai Duong province in 2024, the department received a written request for consideration and received, reviewed, and compiled documents from the districts of Nam Sach, Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Ninh Giang, Binh Giang and Cam Giang. Accordingly, 11 individuals in the above localities were proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to consider and award the title of handicraft artisan of Hai Duong province in 2024.
They are: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien and Tran Thi Ha (Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company) in Thai Tan commune (Nam Sach) with the profession of painting and decorating ceramic and porcelain products.
In Cuc Bo carpentry village, Kien Quoc commune (Ninh Giang), there are Mr. Bui Van Quyen and Mr. Bui Van Manh with the profession of carving, wood carving, and assembling communal houses and pagodas.
In Hoang Dieu commune (Gia Loc), there are Mr. Pham Gia Thien (Gia Thien Leather Footwear Production Facility), Mr. Vu Van Thao (Thao Ngan Leather Footwear Production Facility) and Mr. Pham Van Hung (Hung Thuy Leather Footwear Production Facility) with the profession of art design and leather footwear production.
Thai Duong Commune (Binh Giang) has Mr. Pham Van Phong (Ha Dong Handicraft and Trade Village Cooperative) with handicraft profession.
In Hung Dao commune (Tu Ky), there are Ms. Nguyen Thi Phiu (Xuan Neo village hand embroidery establishment) and Mr. Pham Anh Dung (Hoa Nhuong high-class hand embroidery establishment) with the lace embroidery profession.
In Luong Dien commune (Cam Giang) there is Mr. Vu Dinh Viet with the profession of wood carving.
The list of individuals above is posted publicly to solicit public comments. Public comments must be sent to the Department of Industry and Trade (address: 14A Bac Son Street, Quang Trung Ward, Hai Duong City) before November 18, 2024 for synthesis and reporting to competent authorities for consideration.
Since 2012, Hai Duong has started to organize the evaluation and awarding of the title of handicraft artisan. The evaluation is carried out every 2 years. Up to now, the whole province has 61 handicraft artisans concentrated in a number of professions such as: embroidery, wood carving, mechanical engineering...
