Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son said we have faith in the young generation and this model helps train technology talent for the country.

“I think that in industrial revolutions, what factor creates added value? That is knowledge, the more knowledge is shared, the more value is created. Knowledge is shared a lot with the support of technology to create technological breakthroughs in the world, that is digital technology. The strength of a country is its people, because after all, technology is also made by people. We have the potential to develop digital technology talent to develop the country. This model is a cooperation between schools, businesses and Viettel to train digital human resources for the country,” said Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son.

Talented trainee programs are currently a trend among major technology corporations around the world. In Vietnam, Viettel is the first technology corporation to implement them.

Starting from 2021, after 4 seasons, the program has trained more than 700 domestic and foreign students, more than 250 graduates from Viettel Digital Talent are still working at units in Viettel Group. The training fields have also increased 3 times including: Cloud, information security, data science and artificial intelligence, aerospace, semiconductors, IOT, 5G, software technology. These are all key industries, serving the Government in implementing the national strategy on digital economic and digital society development to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Viettel Digital Talent does not stop at teaching theory, but is also a new training model - combining school and business, learning and practice, passion and reality.

Mr. Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group, shared: “Viettel Digital Talent is not only Viettel’s journey, but also big dreams. Viettel’s dream is to accompany and inspire the young generation to dare to dream, dare to do and conquer the heights of technology. The school’s dream is to train students who are brave, creative, and ready to face challenges. The dream of the education sector is to build a strong knowledge base, where knowledge is not only contained in books, but also comes alive through practice.”

Viettel Digital Talent is a place to nurture the young generation - the people who will master the future of technology. From here, they will not only help Vietnam rise in the region but also make their mark on the global technology map. Each student coming out of the program is not only a talent, but also a bright flame, lighting up a greater aspiration: A creative, innovative and prosperous Vietnam.
