According to a quick report from the Provincial Border Guard Command, the whole province has 6,037 vehicles/21,691 workers. As of this afternoon (July 22), there were 5,377 vehicles/17,957 workers anchored at the port. Currently, there are 660 vehicles/3,734 workers operating at sea; specifically, in the Gulf of Tonkin area, 654 vehicles/3,674 workers; in the South China Sea, 6 vehicles/60 workers.
Vehicles operating at sea have received information about storm No. 2 and are in regular contact with authorities, families, and local governments.
Currently, coastal districts, towns and cities are actively coordinating with the Provincial Border Guard Command to continue guiding ships and vehicles (including tourist boats) still operating at sea and along the coast to proactively leave dangerous areas or return to safe shelters; take measures to ensure safety for tourism, aquaculture and fishing activities at sea and along the coast.
