ĐNO - On the morning of August 29, at the University of Science and Technology (University of Danang), the final round of the Danang City Innovation and Startup Competition - SURF 2024 took place with the participation of 10 projects/startups. This activity is within the framework of the Danang City Innovation and Startup Festival - SURF 2024.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Thi Thuc said that the Da Nang City Innovation and Startup Competition 2024 is an event in a series of typical activities of the Da Nang City Innovation and Startup Festival - SURF 2024.
The competition is not only a place to select and develop talents but also a place to honor and create a breakthrough for innovative start-up projects in Da Nang city.
This year, the organizers selected 10 quality projects in trending fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), Block chain, Virtual reality technology, automation, etc. Many participating projects are students from secondary schools, high schools and universities in Da Nang, which shows the strong spread of the entrepreneurial spirit to the elements in the ecosystem.
The leaders of the Department of Science and Technology pledged to continue to support, accompany and create the most favorable conditions for all start-up projects in Da Nang city; aiming to build Da Nang into a center for start-ups and innovation with the core being start-up and innovation projects.

After the preliminary round, 10/30 excellent projects and startups entered the final round to participate in the training program implemented by Da Nang Business Incubator (DNES), including: CWAssistant - AI assistant for specialized tasks; BINKS - Vegetable ink; MetaDAP - Meta Digital Asset Platform; ElevaBot - Robot for cleaning stairs in public places; TripIn - Travel application and dissemination of historical culture, using AI&AR...
In the final round, the projects will be presented to the council. The competition results will be announced and awards will be presented at the opening session of SURF 2024 on the morning of August 30 at the University of Technology.
