10 Ninh Binh tourism businesses honored at VITA Awards 2025

Representatives of tourism businesses in Ninh Binh province received VITA Green certification.

VITA Award 2025 is held within the framework of Vietnam International Tourism Fair 2025 (taking place from April 10-13) in Hanoi . This is an annual award organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association to honor individuals and organizations with outstanding contributions to the development of the tourism industry.

Based on the records and evaluation results, the Organizing Committee reviewed and selected to honor 155 outstanding collectives and 69 individuals nationwide.

Regarding the implementation of the Green Tourism Criteria, nationwide, 29 tourism enterprises have met the standards and been granted VITA Green certificates. Of which, Ninh Binh has up to 10 enterprises meeting the standards, participating in many fields such as accommodation, restaurants, travel, and destinations. Enterprises achieving the excellent level include: Thien Ha Cave Eco-tourism Area, Ninh Binh Legend Hotel, Trang An Eco-tourism Area, and Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area.

The set of green tourism criteria developed by the Vietnam Tourism Association aims to encourage units operating in the tourism sector to voluntarily apply standards on environmental protection, resource saving and sustainable development.

This prestigious award not only motivates the innovation and creativity of the business community and workers in the tourism industry, but also opens up opportunities to promote Ninh Binh’s unique products, services and destinations. Thereby, enhancing the position of businesses, competitiveness, promoting the green and sustainable development of the tourism industry.
