On the afternoon of April 11, within the framework of the Vietnam International Travel Fair - VITM 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism released official information about the 18th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Fair (ITE HCMC 2024).
ITE HCMC is the only fair with an international buyers program. This year, the event will attract 200 international buyers from 40 countries and territories, creating more than 10,000 business appointments to provide opportunities for direct exchange and contact between international and Vietnamese tourism businesses.
With the theme "Sustainable tourism, creating the future", the fair is expected to contribute to raising awareness of sustainable tourism, bringing thousands of opportunities to businesses, as well as creating new products and services, meeting the demanding and diverse needs of the international tourist market.
Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu said that as the only tourism fair in Vietnam with an international buyer program, ITE HCMC 2024 is expected to attract 220 international buyers from 40 countries and territories.
Pioneering in the application of technology, ITE HCMC 2024 will be held in the form of a live exhibition combined with online. At the live exhibition space at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, two forms of live exhibition and 2D online booth will be implemented in parallel.
2D online booth provides full information and images of products and services of exhibition units with many outstanding features such as: live chat, email, appointment scheduling, helping international buyers and exhibition units easily find suitable partners.
ITE HCMC 2024 is considered a "push" to attract international visitors to Vietnam through promotional and communication activities to key and potential tourism markets of Vietnam tourism such as: Northeast Asia, Western Europe, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, Oceania and new, potential markets...
It is expected that the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair 2024 will attract more than 500 exhibitors and brands... In addition, the fair will also have seminars, conferences, and specialized forums... The highlight is the high-level tourism forum with the theme "Sustainable tourism, creating the future".
Coming to this year's ITE HCMC fair, visitors can also experience spaces introducing local culture such as: areas to experience handicrafts, coffee, folk art, etc.
ITE HCMC 2024 is scheduled to take place from September 5 to September 7, 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
